Lyn Buchanan is a former U.S. Army intelligence officer known for his involvement in the government’s remote viewing program, often referred to as the Stargate Project. After retiring from the military, Buchanan became a public figure in the field of remote viewing, offering training, conducting workshops, and writing about the subject.
Buchanan’s military career included working as a remote viewer and trainer in the Controlled Remote Viewing (CRV) unit, which was part of a larger program initiated by the U.S. government to investigate and potentially utilize psychic phenomena for intelligence-gathering purposes. The Stargate Project and its related activities were classified for many years before being declassified in the 1990s.
After leaving the military, Buchanan became an advocate for the practical applications of remote viewing. He founded Problems>Solutions>Innovations (P>S>I), an organization that offered remote viewing training and services. Buchanan’s approach to remote viewing is based on structured methodologies that he claims can be taught and developed as a skill.
He authored the book “The Seventh Sense: The Secrets of Remote Viewing as Told by a ‘Psychic Spy’ for the U.S. Military.” In this book, Buchanan shares his experiences in the military’s remote viewing program and provides insights into the techniques and applications of remote viewing.
