Ann Druffel was a well-known American UFO researcher and author. Her career in UFOlogy spanned over five decades, during which she investigated numerous UFO sightings and abduction cases. Born on December 12, 1926, Druffel developed a keen interest in the UFO phenomenon in the early 1950s. She was particularly focused on cases occurring in Southern California, her area of residence. Druffel authored several books, including “How to Defend Yourself Against Alien Abduction.” In 1998, she co-authored “Firestorm: Dr. James E. McDonald’s Fight for UFO Science,” a biography of the noted atmospheric physicist and UFO researcher. Druffel was known for her methodical approach to investigating UFO reports, emphasizing in-depth analysis and fact-finding. Her work made significant contributions to the field of UFOlogy, earning her respect within the UFO research community. Ann Druffel passed away on April 8, 2020.
