Lori Toye is a New Age author known for her work on the “I Am America Map.” Her journey as an author and mystic began with a vision in 1983, where she claims to have been shown future changes to Earth’s geography by “Ascended Masters” named Saint Germain, Sananda, El Morya, and Kuthumi. This vision depicted significant landmass changes due to natural disasters like earthquakes and droughts. Her map, known as the “I Am America Map,” represents a future geography after these climatic earth changes, showing many areas, including parts of the Western United States and coastal regions, submerged underwater.
In 1988, Toye received more information from her visions and subsequently created the “I Am America Map,” which she began distributing in 1989 after selling her home to fund its publication. The map gained significant attention, selling over 40,000 copies, and placed Toye at the forefront of the Earth Changes movement. She also drew another map called the “Golden City Map,” identifying areas in the United States that could become centers of spiritual rebirth.
Toye has authored several books, including “Freedom Star: Prophecies that Heal Earth,” “A Teacher Appears,” and the “New World Atlas” books. She has published and sold additional maps like the “Freedom Star World map,” the “Golden Cities map,” and an “Earth Changes Progression” series of maps.
Living in Payson, Arizona, with her husband, Toye continues her work in spiritual teachings and personal growth. Her background includes being an Idaho farm wife and mother, and she was once a member of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. Toye’s work has been featured in various media outlets, including NBC, FOX, and UPN, and her publishing company, “I AM America Publishing and Distributing,” was established with her husband Lenard Toye to publish and distribute her works.
